Fill & Stroke Swap is an After Effects script that automates the swapping of Fill and Stroke colors within Shape Layers. While After Effects provides a native swap for the toolbar picker, it does not offer a direct way to swap colors for existing shapes on the timeline—especially those nested within complex group structures.

The script performs a deep scan of selected layers to identify all Fill and Stroke properties. If a shape contains a Fill but no Stroke (or vice versa), the script automatically generates the missing partner to complete the swap, maintaining the original visibility states to ensure the visual appearance remains consistent with the logic of the swap. For layers with multiple groups or complex hierarchies, a prompt allows you to process all pairs simultaneously, saving you from manual property adjustments across nested contents.
